Germany – Finland

As from the turn of the year 2016 there will be major improvements in our liner services between Germany and Finland. We will increase the amount of sailings during the weekends from Germany to Finland in order to fulfil the requirements of the unitized cargo traffic in the best possible way.

From Travemünde the vessel is sailing for Helsinki on Saturday evening at 18.00 hrs and from Rostock at 20.00 hrs. Both vessels arrive in Helsinki on Monday morning at 06.45 hrs.

There is a whole new departure from Helsinki to Rostock on Thursday evening at 22.30 hrs, and other sailings have added capacity, too.

All three HansaLink ro-pax vessels will continue their service according to the present schedule. The interiors of the ships will be gradually redecorated thus improving customers’ comfort on board.

As informed previously, we will increase both capacity and frequency also between Western Finland and Germany.

As from 2016 we have two weekly sailings from Travemünde to Turku, and three to Uusikaupunki. The schedule is arranged to offer the best possible solutions to market requirements. However, Rauma will no longer be a part of our Baltic Service.

Poland – Finland

There will be increased frequency in the service and a new port of call in Finland. As from January 2016 the Poland service will be calling Hanko in Southern Finland. The geographical location of the city shortens significantly the transit time from Gdynia and consequently we can offer three weekly round trips instead of the current two.

Other Baltic Sea schedules remain unchanged.

With these steps, and with the environmental investments in our fleet (scrubbers, silicone treatment of hulls, propulsion improvements) we are in better position to meet the challenges of the market and improve our competitiveness for the benefit of our customers.

Please find the new schedules below. For further information kindly contact your Finnlines sales person.

We would like to thank our customers for the past year and wish you a merry Christmas.
